Château Gassier was born in 1982 in Puyloubier, from the meeting between a man – Anthony Gassier – and an exceptional terroir: the Sainte-Victoire mountain.

The Gassier family is one of the oldest families in Provence and is part of the Provençal nobility from the French Revolution. Currently, Georges Gassier (5th generation of the family) is the manager of the Château.

Surrounded by 40 hectares of vineyards, at 330 meters of altitude, at the foot of Mount Sainte-Victoire and a few kilometers from Aix en Provence, Château Gassier occupies a privileged position, where the three Provence’s appellations of origin are found. It is ideally located in the heart of the Arc Valley, protected by the Sainte-Victoire mountain to the north, the Regagnas hills to the south, and the Aureliens hills to the east.

Recognized as an appeallation of origin in 2005 (Côtes de Provence Sainte-Victoire), the wine-growing area of Sainte-Victoire is considered one of the most preserved in France and was classified as a nature reserve: “Grand Site de France”.

The property has been certified organic since 2016 and every effort is made to make the Gassier wines express the subtlety and purity of their terroir.
